The World Trade Organization ascension is coming up next week. The
countries expected to ascend will have a workshop expected to start on
March 25th. We may see Iraq ascend this month. Many believe along
with ascension we may see the new rate.

The HCL has been outstanding clear since the year 2007. Why. Because

al-fitr…Then we hear next week it will be formed so on and so forth …Folks
it all can happen suddenly when the time is right… we just have to wait it
out.

The assumption: Iraq’s oil revenues would eventually give Baghdad the financial
muscle to dramatically revalue its currency upward. Today, that
assumption is under more stress than ever…The Iraqi government may soon
be unable to meet its own payroll. More than 40% of Iraq’s
workforce is employed in the public sector or state-owned enterprises, which
consumed 59% of all federal government expenditures…In 2023 alone, the federal
government added more than 800,000 people to the public payroll, either
hiring them…or enrolling them in social benefits programs. Iraq is
pulling the same play the Biden administration did. They are
keeping the employment numbers up through hiring massive…government workers.
This does not signal a strong/ recovering government…They look prosperous
yet are nearing bankruptcy.

Good news from Iraq’s Central Bank of Iraq. The CBI is sending a
clear message that the country’s financial system is stable and under
control. Iraq currently has strong foreign currency reserves, enough to
cover about a full year of imports, which means the country is financially
secure even during this Middle East conflict…

I love the ‘corner’ [Iraq] is backed into. As soon as they resolve the
issues of the Iranian backed militias in Iraq (all 239,000 of them) to
Trumps liking, what we want to see should move quickly. The ‘war’ has
accelerated this resolution IMSO. Watching the news related to
this issue has been the most important thing to do since Trump gave
that directive January of 2025. This is coming to a head
quickly as the Sudani government and the Judiciary is preparing to take
legal action against ‘rogue elements’.
